About us
Nelson Budget Service has been supporting the Nelson community with their personal financial matters for over 30 years. We are primarily funded by the Ministry of Social Development and this enables us to provide a professional Financial Mentoring service that is free to clients. Anyone can self-refer to the service by contacting us or by registering online.
Group education and resource development is a key focus. Funding from the Lottery Grants Board and Nelson Building Society enable us to provide free group sessions for non-profits and schools. Workshops and courses are also available for workplaces and any other interested groups. Find out more here.
